Disney...... Honeymoon? IB English

Last blog I talked about Disney’s weddings which are a total delight and are what you expect from Disney’s staff, and even more, but today, I search in the net and found Disney Honeymoons. I know what you are thinking, isn’t Disney World (or Land) more like a family vacation that is more likely for kids? Well, it is indeed more likely for a family treat but lately they have manage to make a whole new experience for the newlywed to feel certainly, in love. And is no surprise, the most magical place in the world surely is able to make true all the dreams and hopes of those with a young heart.

More than just rollercoaster, amazing shows, they offer a variety of five star dining and luxurious spa treatments. In Disney World they have two specific hotels where newlyweds can stay, the Caribbean Beach Resort which isn’t expensive at all but it isn’t as comfortable as the other hotel Grand Floridian Hotel, the most expensive place to stay in the complex which has a view, a Jacuzzi tub and other features that are grand for a couple. To renew the woo and have the whole meaning of been a princess in Disney, you can have a carriage ride along the river at the Port Orleans resort. To have a more adventurous time, you can go to the Kilimanjaro Safari ride at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but if the couple is more in the mood of some sophistication, Downtown Disney is the best choice. Nightclubs, shows, specially the Cirque du Soleil’s La Nouba are recommended (but it’s important to plan and purchase your entertainment before it’s sold out). Something really special and charming about spending the honeymoon here is that the resort gives you a newlywed button which tells the Disney employees to lavish you with a attention and compliments, so you don’t get enough of it. Hope you guys liked the blog. See you next time.

  1. Hey Annie,

I think that honeymoons at Disney are a very nice idea :) Acutally, my parent's had their honeymoon there and they have told me really nice experiences and pictures and everything.

They told me that, during their honeymoon, they asked for a taxi to go to the church because it was Christmas and suddenly a limo appeared outside the lobby of the hotel and they were like wow there must be a celebrity around here or something. The surprise was that the lime was for them! And they went to the church and back the hotel in the limo.

Actually, this last summer we went to Disney as a family to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary. My parents had kept their tickets for Disney theme parks of their honeymoon and noticed they still had one day that had not been used during their honeymoon. Thus, we went to the tickets office and asked if they could make those tickets valid and they did! So, my parents entered Disney to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary with the same tickets they had used 20 years before during their honeymoon. I think that it really meant something to them because they saw how their lives changed during the last 20 years of marriage, it was a very special moment for all of us.
I think it might be interesting for you to look up for the most exotic weddings ever made I believe there have been some under the sea and things like that. Also, there is a program were they show different weddings that have been the most expensive of all times, that would be interesting too. See you later, I really liked your blog, keep up the good work.

  2. Hello Annie! This is the first time that I comment on your blog, so that first let me talk about your topic. I think that weddings are very important for most of the people in our society and that is why traditions in different cultures have developed related to them. Because of this, is quite interesting to know these costumes and their consequences.
Now, talking about this post, first Mickey and Minnie seem very happy in the picture so they look good. Second, it is fascinating to know that Disney has opened honeymoon trips. Actually I thought that honeymoons were just related with trips to the beach or to a romantic place for the couple, like a forest. Moreover, Disney offers to the couple a new portfolio of options for spending their honeymoon. Despite this, I think that couples should consider the price of the trip because, even though the experience is amazing, the debt provoked by the honeymoon may also be “amazing”. In addition to this, starting a marriage life with debts may cause problems to the couple, so that I think that the expenses should be taken into consideration. For further posts, can you talk about the weddings of famous people that have followed wedding’s traditions? Also, can you talk about more specific Mexican traditions for weddings?
Well, that is my comment, I hope that you liked it. Let me tell you that I learned something new today related to this topic. Continue researching about these interesting things and see you later.

  3. Anny!! I love your topic! And the photos that you post they are very sweet and beautiful!!
First of all your post is really interesting I liked very much :) In fact I had knew that there were honeymoons in Disney because actually my aunt loved so much to go to Disney parks that when she got married it was like the first place where she wanted to go, but when she proposed the idea to my uncle he doesn´t really was in complete agreement with her, he said that he preferred to go in a cruise by Spain but somehow my aunt convince him and they went to Disney like for about two weeks! And let me tell you that my uncle does not regret at all about having gone to Disney by the contrast they had just told me beautiful thinks about their honeymoon, but they just told me like superficial things, they never really entered in so much details about the hotels, festivals, rides, night shows and dinners like you do in this post so it never caught my attention, but now reading your post, I want to tell that everything Disney offer to the couples sounds very romantic I think that is awesome that they have special hotels for the “just married” and night shows! When I went to Disney with all my family the night shows was the part that enjoyed the best, I mean everything felled and looked so real hat was awesome! and now I can´t stop imagine one show specially for the couples I bet it will be like 3 to 5 times better or even more because besides the show your are with the love of your life :P I think that going to Disney in your honeymoon it will be like living in a dream where you don´t what to wake up and that is what I really hope from my honeymoon :)
Any your post are very specials, I will continue commenting on them :B See you!!
