Today I’m making an exception and I´m going to talk about the ceremony, in short, the wedding. I will like to start first with an anecdote of mine. Last time, I was wandering around on Tumblr, a social network, and I bump to a very pretty picture, here it is:
And on the tags I read it said Disney Land, the one that is in California. I was thrilled, I didn’t know you could have weddings in Disney Land, so I did a little search and I found out it wasn’t only Disneyland but also, Disney World, Disney Cruise Line and Disney Hawaii! This incredible beautiful weddings, as beautiful and magical they can be are pretty expensive. An intimate Disney wedding for two begins at $3,000 and includes resort accommodations, a ceremony and admission to the attractions. If you want up to 20 guests is around $8,000 and weddings where you want to invite as many guests as you want are around $19,000 to $25,000. For the wedding you have to choose a Disney theme; options are Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and many more (depending on the park). I read that if you choose Cinderella, the bride arrives in a glass carriage with pretty white ponies and dessert is been served in a white chocolate glass slipper.
I know that mostly all my readers are pretty young to even think about marriage but in, I don’t, know, 10 years maybe?, you can consider the parks as an option. If you are young at heart and are truly in love with Disney (and your boyfriend or girlfriend) don’t doubt on relaying with Disney’s help for a wonderful one of a kind wedding celebration, I know I won´t.

Hi Any! I got just one thing to say, a wedding in Disney Land sounds pretty crazy! As I read your post, I was more impressed about it. I think that when it comes to be original, a Disney themed wedding is a great option. With all the themes, the parks offer I find it difficult that a couple could not find the perfect one... I personally like the Aladdin theme but I would love to make my entrance in the reception on a glass carriage.
ReplyDeleteWith all the different ideas couples have nowadays and how much they want to have an original wedding, I cannot believe I have not heard about the weddings in the different Disney theme parks and I would have had to chose among all the parks I would chose Disney Hawaii.
Unfortunately, a wonderful wedding has its cost, I guess that is why the weddings at Disney are not so popular and people which are able to afford a wedding as expensive as Disney's ones rather have another type of wedding. In the other hand, I would be amazing that people at least have a Disney theme wedding in cheaper places; I think there is no need to have a wedding in a Disney park.
Finally, I really love your blog, I find weddings so beautiful, it's a special moments in someone's life and it must be a day to remember.
